Southeast Oak Cliff car accident kills six

A tragic single-car accident in Dallas claimed the lives of six young individuals Sunday, August 31 at around 9:10 p.m. in the southeast Oak Cliff area.

According to preliminary investigations made by law enforcement officials, the driver of the maroon 2004 Chevrolet Impala clipped a curb and then lost control of the vehicle, crashing into a tree on Bonnie View Road near Highland Hills Drive.

Four of the victims perished at the scene of the accident, while the other two were transported to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, but they ultimately succumbed to their injuries. The deceased were identified as a 20-year-old male driver, a 21-year-old woman, a 23-year-old woman, a 16-year-old male, and a 15-year-old male. The age of the last victim is not yet known.
